Independence Day!

Josh and I flew in at 1:30am (3:30 DR time), so by the time we got home and to bed it was really late.  Our neighborhood had a 4th of July breakfast and the kids had really wanted to go. So I got up, got us all ready, and headed around the corner for breakfast. I was SO tired, but glad that we went. The kids had fun playing with all the neighbors!

We didn't do much the rest of the morning or afternoon, but after quiet time we headed down to the Sandy City parade. It was a lot of fun an the kids had a blast! I love watching the kids while they see all the floats, wave to the princesses, and run after all the candy. After the parade was over we set up our blankets for the fireworks and headed to Chuck a rama for dinner. Rachael met up with us to eat, then we all headed back over to Sandy. It's been a while since we've taken the kids to see fireworks. It was  fun to lay there with them and watch a great firework show. They loved every minute of it! (Not sure where all my pics are, but I will find them and add them later.)
