First Solo Dance Competition

This is the first year I've been able to handle adding solos into our already busy dance schedule. The girls used their solos from the Reflections contest from school. Misty, our dance studio owner, took those solos and fixed them and made them better. We've been working SO hard on them and the girls were ready for their first competition! Brooklyn's music was called "Gold" and her costume was absolutely breath taking on stage. Brynlee danced to "The Glow" and looked amazing. This comp was at Thanksgiving Point, and it was more of a dress rehearsal. It's the perfect first comp bc it's small to get ready for the bigger competitions. They both did great! I couldn't help but get really emotional watching them. The confidence they have to get up and perform their solos was inspiring. Brooklyn's friends were there competing their trio  so it was fun that they got to support each other and cheer  each other on. I can't wait to see them improve with each competition! Oh...and they both got 1st place at this comp!

Cabin Trip - Justin Brewer Family

We invited the Brewer's up to the cabin for the weekend. We love going up with them and the kids always have a lot of fun. We did LOTS of crafts, games, sledding, and hanging out. And Justin always helps out with maintenance on the cabin, which we greatly appreciate.

Valentine's Day

I was bummed when I realized I didn't take many pics today. I did hearts in all the girls' hair which is always fun. I was able to go and help out in Brynlee's class for their v-day party. I brought snow cones and cotton candy of course. Although I should've just done snow cones. It was hard to keep up with both, but it was fun to be there! And the little ones got to come so they loved that! I got the kids each a little bag of candy and they loved that too.

Valentine Boxes

Brooklyn has known for weeks what she wanted her box to look like. Luckily it wasn't too difficult to copy the pics off the internet. Brynlee really wanted to use Brooklyn's princess castle box from a couple of years ago...although she had to add some bling (Thank heavens for keeping that thing around!) And Brayden...we came up with his idea the night before and scrambled to find enough toilet paper rolls from the neighbors to be able to make it. It turned out awesome! Everyone absolutely loved it and he even got an award for the best overall box in his class! There are a few kids in the neighborhood that have asked if they can borrow it in the future.

We had a few friends from the neighborhood over to play and it was nice enough outside for them to go out there! We don't have many boy toys inside, so it helps when they can play outside!

The Trimble's dog had puppies, so when we invited over for the evening they asked if they could bring them along too. We definitely couldn't turn that down! Our girls were obsessed with the puppies and rarely put them down. Britney spent the entire 4 hours holding puppies...everyone else bounced back and forth between holding them and playing. But nope...Britney didn't move. She had to hold each one so kept switching between the 4, and at times had to have 2 on her lap. It seriously was one of the cutest things we've  seen in a while.

Bingham Flight

Brayden continues to work really hard at bball. He is still one of the smallest players in the league, but he is getting stronger and better each week. He is one fast kid! He's starting to let his instincts kick in and not think so much during the games, which has helped him tremendously. Their team wins most of the tournaments they enter, but they have to work really hard for it. They are doing great!
