Family Night at the Park

The extended Ericson family had their summer get together at the park. It's always fun for the kids to play with their 2nd cousins and we all have fun catching up with each other. I met Josh there with the kids, but I had to leave pretty early with the 3 oldest kids so we could make it to their tumbling class on time. 

Birthdays with the Ericsons

We always try to celebrate everyone's birthdays in the Ericson family. It's always a good excuse to get together for dinner. There are a lot of July birthdays so we got together to celebrate them all! Grayson, Josh, and Natalie all got their own cake, their own song, and their own chance to blow out candles. Thanks for being born y'all. 

Fun with the Binks

We invited a friend from work to bring his family over for dinner and to play. We got out the waterslide and the girls just played and played. They have a girl named Brielle who is in-between Brynlee and our Brielle's ages, as well as a girl Britney's age so t hey all had a blast playing together all night!

1st Day of School - Brynlee

Brynlee went to morning kindergarten last year, so getting up early and heading to school isn't any different for her. But she was very excited to eat at school and come home with the other kids. She likes her teacher (same one Brooklyn had) and she is going to do great this year!

1st Day of School - Brayden and Brooklyn

After only a 3 week break the kids started a new year of school. Brayden is in 5th grade, Brooklyn in 4th, and Brynlee in 1st. Brynlee starts tomorrow bc she goes to meet her teacher for 20 min today instead of starting. They were all excited to go back and see their friends and who is in their classes for this year. 

Cabin Trip - Day 4

Today was Josh's birthday and luckily the kids didn't start school until the next day, so we were able to stay up at the cabin for an extra day. We relaxed and enjoyed the day then headed home. We stopped at Teriyaki Grill for dinner to celebrate and made it home in time for the kids to get to bed!

Cabin Trip - Day 3

Happy Pioneer Day! We tend to be up at the cabin every year over this holiday for Josh's birthday, so we don't get to do much that's patriotic. But I still had the girls wear their blue and white star outfits so we could celebrate. We had a lot of fun doing the usual cabin stuff...sleep in, go for rides, feed the horses, take naps, and play all day!

Cabin Trip - Day 2

Today we relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful day. My parents were camping not far from the cabin so they stopped by after they went to church and stayed with us for the afternoon. Steve came up yesterday and Kay joined us this afternoon. It was a wonderful day and we enjoyed every minute of it!
