Brynlee's 7th Birthday

What a fun day! It was Brynlee's birthday and we had a blast celebrating it. I took ice cream sandwiches to her class and they were all SO excited about it. After school we relaxed a little bit then headed out to the bowling alley. We haven't taken the kids bowling in a very, very long time so we weren't sure how it was going to go. Remember the awful experience we had miniature golfing a few weeks ago??? Ya...Josh and I were a little worried we would have a repeat situation. But luckily it was anything but awful. The kids had SO much fun and were so excited for each other. I couldn't believe how much they encouraged each other and complimented each other. It was one of those experiences that made me realize how much I love this family of ours and how blessed we are for each of these kids to be a part of our family.

After bowling we headed back to our house for Chinese food. Sweet and sour chicken is Brynlee's favorite, so we invited Josh's parents, Rachael, Aaron, and Vivian over for dinner and to celebrate with Brynlee. She opened her presents, played with them, then all the kids headed to bed. Happy Birthday Brynlee!!! (Btw it has been the biggest stress relief having had her friend bday party 2 months ago! I'll have to remember this for the future!)
