My family has been planning a trip to Island Park for months. My brother's inlaws have 2 cabins right next to each other so we could all go and have a fun time together. I stressed out about the drive for weeks. 5 1/2 hours with 5 kids...no thanks. We headed out in the morning around 10 and it wasn't too bad. We made it to Pocatello for lunch, then went straight to Island Park with no other stops! Britney did great and slept for a good portion of it. Brielle, however, didn't do so well. We knew she would struggle but we made it. We were about 45 minutes before everyone else so we stopped at the river and let the kids play while we waited. It was so beautiful!
We made it to the cabins, unpacked, and relaxed for the rest of the day! It was so fun for the kids to just play outside with their cousins. We had spaghetti for dinner and relaxed all evening!
