Disneyland Trip - Day 2

Wednesday we woke up early, got ready, and headed off to Disneyland! It was a blast. Natalie and I made the kids these little outfits and they looked adorable!

And...this is where I dropped my camera and it broke :( I was SO bummed and upset about it. I ended up taking pictures with my phone the rest of the day, but need to get them onto the computer. Hopefully I'll get that done soon!....Here they are! I finally got them transferred from my phone onto the computer. Get ready for a photo overload!

Disneyland Trip - Day 1

The day finally came to leave on our trip! The kids have been excited for months as they have been counting down. We spent about 1 week packing and getting ready. Michael and Natalie and their 2 kids left on Saturday to spend a few days with their friends. Kay, Steve, and Rachael met us at our house and we headed out on Tuesday morning. We made it to the airport and through security without any problems. The kids loved seeing all the planes as we waited for the time to get on the plane.

 The kids did great on the plane. I packed plenty of snacks and fun things to do. They all just watched their Nooks and ate their snacks. I put the movie Frozen on the Nooks the night before we left so they were SO excited to watch it on the plane.

 The baby did pretty good. She watched my ipad and played with the stuff I brought.

 We finally made it, rented our van, and headed to the house we rented. The house was perfect for us, although there was no AC and we were in the middle of a heat wave. The pool was pretty cold, so that was a bummer too. But other than that it was great! The older 2 loved the pool, whereas the younger ones loved playing "around" the pool.

 This is the only time any adults got in the pool. Too cold.

 We got pizza for dinner then the girls went to the store to get food for the week.

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter, although the baby was sick with a fever. I took the kids to church where my choir sang in sacrament meeting. Then I came home and switched Josh and he went to church. We were up with the baby so much yesterday, that I really didn't have time to get ready for Easter. So while all the kids were at church, I finished getting all the baskets ready and made sure the Easter bunny hid all the eggs. Brielle was a great helper. I have been busy working on teepees for the kids and I surprised myself that I actually got them all done in time for Easter. 

 The baby was feeling slightly better, so at the last minute I put her Easter dress on and took pictures outside as soon as everyone got hope from church.

Then the time finally came that the kids could go downstairs and have Easter.

 They LOVED their teepees, which made me very happy.

For dinner we headed over to Michael and Natalie's for dinner. It was a fun day and even though the baby was sick, we enjoyed it!
