Special Needs Mutual

The youth in our ward were in charge of providing mutual for the special needs group in the area. It was the Beehive's turn to come up with the activity so we decided to do 6 different carnival type games and rotate the special needs group through each activity. I was SO nervous as we set it up that it was going to work out like I had it planned in my head. But as soon as we started you could tell how much fun they were having. Some of their leaders made comments that it was one of the better activities they've participated in! We loved meeting all of the special needs members and it was SO fun to play with them all!

Water Slide!

I put up the water slide for the kids and invited Natalie and her kids over. They loved it and spent all day playing!

New Battery!

I finally bought a new battery for the escalade! The kids have spent all day everyday riding it. Of course there is plenty of fighting over who gets to drive, but for the most part they are taking turns and having fun!

Relief Society at the Park

The sisters in the ward had an activity at the park and invited us to bring our kids. It was fun to visit with the other ladies while all the kids had fun playing with each other. 

Impromptu Water Fight

I bought a couple of water guns at the store today and I guess I didn't hide them well enough (or at all). As soon as the kids saw them they were in swim suits squirting each other. Of course we had to come up with a whole bunch of rules regarding the little ones...the neighbor boys aren't used to dealing with little girls. So the girls could squirt whomever they wanted, but the boys weren't allowed to squirt the girls. Sounds fair right?! Lol well it worked. They all had a great time!

Movie Night!

I had promised the girls a movie night and they finally were able to have it. The Jensen girls came over and they set their little movie theater up...complete with stadium seating! I can't remember what movie that watched, but they got popcorn and donuts to munch on while they watched it!

Cabin Trip - Day 4

Monday we continued enjoying our time at the cabin. The kids played, the adults relaxed and hung out, and we all had a great time. We cleaned up in the afternoon and headed home after nap time. This was such a great weekend!!!
