Last Soccer Game

The day of Fred's funeral was Brayden's last soccer game. Josh and I were able to go to the first half before we had to leave for the funeral. Brayden had a lot of fun this year, although his team wasn't the greatest so he had a hard time trying to pass to other teammates etc. But he still loved it. Good job Brayden!!! Here are a few pics from his last game:

Fred

My step grandpa passed away on May 4th. He was 91 and died peacefully at his home. We were able to visit him a few days during his last week and it was nice for us to spend that time with my grandma. I was able to play the piano at his memorial service. I also put together the program. Here is the front and back cover:
Inside of the program:
The memorial service was really nice as was the luncheon afterwards. Thanks to Josh's family for watching our kids so we could enjoy the day with my family.

Bubble Party!!!

The twins, Meg and Ty, had a bubble party for their 2nd birthday. The kids, especially Brynlee, were in heaven. Brayden, of course, played football with anyone that would throw the ball his way. The girls spent the majority of the time chasing all the bubbles:
 Yummy cupcakes!
 And the pinata!
Can you see the huge mark on his forehead?! Ya...that was from the football that dad threw him and hit him right in the face. Awesome.

Brooklyn's First Talk

I am 3 yrs old. This is how I can get ready to be baptized.
B - Be a good sister
A - Always choose the right
P - Pray
T - Try to be like Jesus
I - I will obey mom and dad
S - Read my scriptures
M - make sure I'm 8!
If I do these things, I can be baptized like Jesus.
Brooklyn did awesome on her talk! She was a little shy at the beginning, but then did most of her talk without any help. Good job Brooklyn! We are so proud of you!

Fun In The Backyard

Sunday evening walks are the best. We aren't home very often on Sundays with family nights taking up 3 of the 4 weeks every month. This Sunday we happened to be home and made the most of it. Lexi LOVED our walk, as did the kids. When we got home I wanted everyone out of the house so I could clean the kitchen and make dinner without any distractions. So they all went outside and played football.

Ryan's Birthday Party

We went to Ryan Tucker's 30th surprise birthday party. It was a lot of fun and the kids did not want to leave. We played, ate pizza, played, had cake and ice cream, played, opened presents, and played some more! Happy Birthday Ryan!
Of course Brynlee started having issues so had a little time out with Rocket.

Ready or Not...

The kids were playing hide-n-seek. Brooklyn asked me to help her find Brayden. Here is where he was hiding:
This is Brayden almost 3 yrs ago after we got Jazz. Just a little de-ja-vu!
