Brynlee's Rainbow Party

Brynlee wanted a rainbow party this year. It was fun to find all the ideas and SO easy to put together. However it did take me forever to make them each a rainbow tutu, but they were SO cute!!!! They each for the tutu and a rainbow ribbon wand as their party favors. My mom was able to come paint their faces, we colored their take home bags, played with the parachute, made fruit loop rainbows, read a story, and opened presents! They decorated sugar cookies for dessert. Such a fun party!

Crazy Hair Day

My kids have always been off track for crazy hair day, so we've never had to figure it out before. Thanks to a quick google search I found a tutorial on this donut on a plate idea for Brooklyn. She LOVED it and everyone at school loved it too. We didn't do much with Brayden's hair, but we did manage some spikes and black spray.

Brynlees 5th Birthday!!!

Brynlee has been counting down the days to her birthday. We went to the mall the night before and she got her ears pierced! She loves them! I had planned on taking the girls to the Aquarium for the morning with Natalie and her girls, but it didn't work out as planned. We ended up going to Mcdonalds then to a gymnastic gym where they got to just run and play. It was AWESOME! The girls all loved it and didn't stop bouncing around for the whole 2 hrs. It was definitely worth it! After nap time we got ready to head to Jungle Jim's. The Ericsons all met us there and the kids had a lot of fun riding the rides and playing. Happy birthday Brynlee!!!

Girls Weekend to Park City!

I'm so mad at myself for not taking any pictures of our awesome weekend! A few months ago Trianna and I were both sitting next to our husbands while they were on the phone talking about their upcoming BYU trip. We started texting and decided that we HAD to do a girls weekend, even if it was just to Park City. So we picked a weekend, booked a condo, and got excited! Amy and I drove up Friday at noon and hit the outlets. We shopped for the whole afternoon until Julie and Trianna met up with us at Loco Lizard. We did a little more shopping then headed to our condo. It was a beautiful condo that fit us all great. Britney ended up in the shower in her pack and play and slept better than she does at home! I was surprised how well she did all weekend and was happy and tolerated all the shopping very well. After she was asleep we headed to the hot tub that was 2 doors down and relaxed a bit. We stayed up super late talking! But it was way fun. Saturday Trianna left to go to her son's soccer game while the rest of us chilled then headed to the outlets for more shopping. We shopped the whole afternoon! Julie couldn't stay the second night so she headed home, but Trianna came back up and shopped with us for the afternoon. We picked up dinner from a pizza/pasta place on Main Street then relaxed and talked again all night. Sunday morning Trianna left early to get home for church while Amy and I relaxed, packed up, and headed down around noon. It was such a refreshing weekend and fun to enjoy some time for ourselves. Can't wait for our trip next year!

Conference Weekend

We headed up to the cabin for conference weekend with the Ericsons. It was fun to hang out and listen to all the speakers. We got some work done while we were up there, but mostly we just played and relaxed!
