Elder Ericson!

The kids have been counting down the days til when Aaron would get home from his mission. We headed to the airport and hung out waiting, and waiting. After realizing no one was totally sure if we were in the right spot, I asked and found out we were in the wrong bldg. Here we are in the wrong spot:
We finally found the right spot and still had time to wait for quite a while. Finally Aaron emerged and the kids went nuts. So excited to have him back. It was fun to see him again!
Brayden was especially excited to get his buddy back!

Flag Football

Brayden has been playing flag football with a few kids from the neighborhood. He has loved it and does such a great job. The girls do pretty good at the games, although they don't care to watch it. They just play and run around. You are doing great bud!!!

Rec Center

I wanted to do something fun with the kids on Saturday night when Josh was in Texas, but couldn't think of anything. Then I remembered the rec center. We really haven't taken the kids swimming much, but since both Brayden and Brooklyn had friends bday parties here I decided to give it a shot. It was a little stressful to just be me and 4 kids, but we had a blast!!! Brynlee's life jacket was awful, so I had to watch her like a hawk. I bought her a new one on Amazon later that night. We are excited to now have another fun place to go to! The kids start swim lessons here soon, so we will get in our share of swimming over the next month!

Thanksgiving Point

While Josh and Jeff were at the BYU game in Texas, Amy and I decided to take the kids toThanksgiving Point's new museum. We both ended up buying a membership, so we are excited to go there more often. The kids absolutely loved it and we spent all night there.

Taking a Ride

Turns out Brielle doesn't mind riding around with Josh on the lawn mower. It's always a huge help when I'm trying to get stuff done.

Another BBQ

After Brooklyn's party was over we quickly got ready for a couple of Josh's work buddies to come over with their families. It was a lot of fun and the kids loved having new friends to play with.

Brooklyn's Pancake & Pajama Party

We had such a fun party for Brooklyn! It is probably the funnest party I've done for any of the kids. We had 18 girls come in their pajamas ready to eat pancakes! They filled up on breakfast and played while we got ready for the first craft...fruit loop necklaces. I turned on the Frozen music and soon had 18 girls belting out Let It Go! It was hilarious! I was surprised how long the girls sat and did the necklaces. My mom came and face painted all the girls throughout the morning. After the necklaces, we played a quick dress up game, then back to the tables for another craft. They made fruit loop rainbows. By the time they were done with that it was time for presents! Then the girls played until they got picked up. I cut cereal boxes to look like gift bags and they each got a little box of cereal, a craft to do at home, and a rag doll. So. Much. Fun! I was nervous about doing 18 girls with just my mom and me, but it worked out great! I don't think I would ever attempt it with boys, but girls and crafts are super easy!
