Jordanelle

Our friends Brian and Andrea invited us and a few other friends to Jordanelle to have fun on their new boat. I was a little hesitant since it's been so long since I've been out skiing. Unfortunately it was too choppy for the ski, however we had too much fun surfing to care. I didn't think I could even get up since I've never even wakeboarded. I was surprised when I popped right up. It was SO much fun. It was nice to be able to surf and not get exhausted like when you are skiing. We were all able to get up and it was a ton of fun!

Sadie's Birthday Party

We went to a park to celebrate Sadie's 3rd birthday. The kids had a blast running around and playing. It was a beautiful night and a lot of fun. Happy Birthday Sadie!

First Day of Kindergarten

Brayden has been excited to go to the big school ever since we moved to this house and drove past it everyday. The day finally came and he couldn't be more excited. I took him to school to drop him off and held it together until he started lining up with his class. Brooklyn yelled out, "Bye Brayden! I'll miss you!" and I lost it. I still can't believe my little Brady Bug is big enough for school!
With his buddy Elijah. They even get to sit across from each other.

Josh's Adventure Day

For months I have been planning a fun adventure day for Josh's 30th birthday. It has been a lot of work and planning, especially trying to keep it a secret from Josh. It was one of the funnest days we've had in years. After Josh got home from work on Friday, we dropped off the kids and headed down to Lindon for dinner at the Pizza Factory. It was such a nice dinner to enjoy without the kids. We then made stops at TJMaxx, Ross, and Walmart and loaded up on some new BYU gear. We finally made it to our hotel room in Orem at 10:30. We had a great night watching the Olympics. Saturday morning we woke up and headed up Provo Canyon for our first adventure - ziplining! A bunch of friends and family met us there and we had a blast. All 12 of us loaded in a van and headed to the first zipline. There were 5 ziplines to go down and we all loved it.
After ziplining we stopped at Marley's for lunch. It was awesome food. 7 of us then headed back up the canyon, rented some tubes and tubed down the river. I didn't take my camera, but managed to snap one shot of us at the end. It was SO much fun!
After the river, everyone else had to go pick up their kids and head home. Josh and I went to the Provo Beach Resort to do the ropes course. I was surprised that I was a little nervous to begin, but it ended up being a lot of fun.
Justin and Andrew met up with us to do the Flowrider. It was SO awesome. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but the guys all caught on pretty quick. They even tried standing on the long boards and did pretty good. We all fell a lot and woke up pretty sore the next morning, but it was well worth it.
After we were done with the Flowrider we headed back to Draper for dinner at Chuck-A-Rama. We met up with more friends and family and had an enjoyable evening.
While Josh and I were down in Provo having a blast, the kids were having just as much fun with at the Ericson's. They had a little blow up pool and spent all afternoon sliding down into the pool and playing in the sandbox. Then Brayden and Brooklyn went to a Superhero birthday party for Boston. They had a TON of fun and couldn't stop talking about it. By the time we all got home after dinner, we were all exhausted and ready for bed. The kids collapsed on their beds, as did Josh and I later that night. Happy Birthday Babe! I hope you had as much fun as I did!

Josh's 30th Birthday

Josh turned 30 this week! He went to lunch with some of his buddies, then we went to the Italian Village for dinner with his family. His actual birthday was pretty low key since everything I planned wasn't until the weekend.
I spent over 2 months collecting memories and thoughts from as many of Josh's friends and family I could get. I created a book for him and got it printed. It was a lot of work, but it was neat to see all the things people have to say about Josh. Happy Birthday Josh! We sure love you!

Kindergarten Open House

We stopped by Brayden's kindergarten class during their open house to meet his teacher. He'll be in afternoon kindergarten with Mrs. Asay. He's really excited and can't wait for it to start!!!
