Brayden's Actual Birthday

Sunday birthdays are always a little tricky. Especially when Josh's whole family is out of town. Luckily we were able to celebrate it with my family at my parent's house. In the morning we never wake up with any extra time before church, so I quickly let Brayden open up one present before we rushed off to church.
After nap time we headed over to my parent's house for dinner. My dad was busy doing tithing settlements all evening, but when he finally made it home the kids were there to greet him:
Brayden FINALLY got to open his presents:
He saw me buy this 3 months ago and I thought he would forget about it. Nope! He has reminded me weekly about his new helmet:

Leaves

Our street is lined with these huge trees that produce a lot of leaves. Naturally, the kids jump in them every chance they get.

The Sink

Oh Brynlee. You definitely keep us on our toes. The kids like having a stool by the sink so they can wash their hands. We had to put it away for a while until Brynlee was more stable on it and we didn't have to worry about her falling off of it. Now she has loved doing the dishes and standing on it all day long. Well, recently she has made another move...she'll put her feet on the lip of the cabinet door and pull herself into the sink. Really?! Needless to say, the stool got put away again. Of course, we did have to take pictures on one occassion when we didn't notice until it was too late. She LOVED that we finally let her stay in and play.

Picture Day

The kids had their school picture day. I love dressing them up and I'm glad they don't mind when I make them change their clothes over and over again.

Spiderman

For Brayden's birthday party invitation we did Spiderman. I wanted a picture of Brayden on it. Brayden was more than happy to dress up and pose for me.
I love him shooting his webs:

Twinners!

Josh's aunt gave Brynlee and Mckinsley matching track suits when they were born. We've waited all year to put the girls in them. Quite a few people at family night with Josh's extended family didn't realize there were two babies toddling around until we sat them next to each other. They thought they kept seeing the same baby!
