HOCO Date Activities

Brooklyn went paint balling for her day date and Brayden went to Top Golf in the morning then his group came to our house to hang out after the dance.

HOCO

We had wanted to go up to the cabin this weekend for conference, but it was hard to not be home for the HOCO dance. Brayden took a cute friend of his and Brooklyn was asked by a kid she didn't know (turns out it's the son of a girl I grew up with!) I loved watching and helping them get ready and seeing all the fun pictures that came afterwards. 

 

New Boat?

Johs's boss's boss asked Josh if he wanted to buy his boat. Ummm sure?? Lol. Last summer Justin and my dad had approached us to see if we would ever want to go in and buy a boat together. We definitely were interested but I wasn't sure it would happen. So when Bryce asked Josh about buying his boat we reached out to see if Justin would be interested. My dad decided he wouldn't really use it much so Justin and Josh started talking about this boat. Bryce offered to take meet at the lake and let us see the boat in action. It was freezing cold but Justin and Josh both hopped in to surf a few minutes to check it out. We loved it! We will see if it really happens though...

 

BYU Game

Bryn got to go to another BYU game bc the older kids were at the HOCO football game.

Another halftime! Unfortunately Josh and I had to miss this game bc it was the same night as the BYU game, but I snapped a quick pic of Brooklyn leaving the house. And I'm grateful for Karyn for getting a couple of pics of Brooklyn!

Work Retreat

We headed to St. George for 4 days with some of the guys Josh works with at WFG. It was a lot of fun to relax and just enjoy the break. Unfortunately the big lagoon at the place we stayed at had been drained to fix a leak so we couldn't swim, but it was still fun. We spent time with Monte Holm (one of the founders) and we even got a private tour of the big compound he is building for him and his kids' families. It's incredible and really helps stretch our vision. We also got to go through the open house for the St. George temple which was really neat to do. On Thursday night we went to Tuacahn and saw the Willy Wonka play. They always do an incredible job.

 

Dance Pictures

Dance Pictures!!! We had a beautiful day down at the capital for the girls to get their dance pictures taken. They turned out SO cute and we can't wait to get them back! These were a couple pics I snapped with my phone.

 

Dance Poses

The girls always get really stressed trying to come up with cool dance poses to do for pictures. We look up 100's of pictures to try to decide which ones to do.
