Carwash

I rarely go through the car wash but our car was a mess from the snow storm the other day so I made sure to wait til Britney was with me to go through the car wash. She loved it and can't wait to go again.

 

Kennedy

Britney is still a studio favorite. I've tried to figure out why all the older girls love her so much and have concluded that she gives the best hugs. Like she is full of so much love and will just squeeze and squeeze you until you realize how much you needed a hug like that. Her and the studio owner's daughter Kennedy have a special little bond and call each other Sunny D. Not sure where that came from but it is SO cute. I couldn't help but snap a pic of them rolling around snuggling on the ground at one of the dance competitions.

 

Bingham Ball

The regular season ended but the freshman still had a tournament to play. They played all the games at Olympus High School which is where Kay and Steve went to school. It was fun for them to go to their stomping grounds and we were able to have other family members that live out that way come and watch the games. I was busy in Provo with Brooklyn and Brynlee for a dance convention but luckily it worked out for me to make most of his games. He was amazing in one of the games and I was SO glad I decided to video almost the entire game. It was fun to make a little highlight reel bc he had so many awesome moves and baskets.

 

Andrew’s 40th Birthday Party

It's been fun this year to see all of Josh's age of friends turn 40 and have parties. We knew Andrew's party would be epic and I'm glad it worked out that we could go. They held it at Wheeler Farm and it felt like a wedding reception. It was fun to visit with the people we knew and spend time celebrating our good friend!

 

Simone Biles Wax Museum

Brielle's turn for the 3rd grade wax museum. She struggled deciding what figure to do and finally settled on Simone Biles. We had been totally on top of this project and she was good to make all of the due dates for the report. She kept asking me to get her stuff for the poster board and I somehow thought we had more time. Next thing I knew time was up and it was due. Crap. Luckily earlier when I was on the ball I ordered a couple of picture books so she could cut them up and use the on her poster. She spray painted the poster in the morning before school then after school she headed to dance. We literally had about 15 min after she got home from dance til I left with Josh for our Valentines date. We came up with a few ideas then I left and let her do it all! It turned out amazing and she really did a good job with how she organized it and decorated it. Brooklyn really wanted to see her in school so I checked her out a little early, took her to lunch, then we headed to the school to see Brielle's wax museum. She did a great job!

 

Valentine’s Day

We did the fountain last night for the kids so that Josh and I could spend the evening together tonight. Before we left I had set out a little gift for each of them and they all loved their squish mallows and treats. Josh and I went and got our annual massages then went to have dinner at Legends. It was a great night!

 

Valentines/Super Bowl with Friends

We had plans the Tuckers to watch the Super Bowl and do a chocolate fountain for the kids for Valentines. Last minute we had the Scotts ask if they could join us so we ended up with a fun group to spend the evening with. The other families didn't know each other but the kids didn't mind making new friends and they all had a lot of fun. The chocolate fountain was a hit and reminded me why we only do it occasionally...it sure is a mess to clean up. But it was worth it!

 

Dancers

These 2 girls finally got to go to one of Brayden's basketball games and this is what they do...dance. They just can't help themselves I guess.

 

Jazz Game

We were fortunate enough to be invited to sit in the courtside seats for a Jazz game. It was awesome to sit so close and even better bc they won!

 

Bingham Ball

The season is winding down which makes us so sad. We've really enjoyed watching Brayden play. He continues to get better and better and he really is so fun to watch. 

 

Games

Every time I turn around on Sundays it seems these kids have found another game to play. And pretty sure every time I see them play a game I take a picture. Lol

 

Cinderella

My nieces Paige and Meg do a lot of theater and perform in a play every couple of months. It hasn't worked out for us to see one yet, so we were thrilled when we had an open night on the same night they were performing in the play Cinderella. The girls and I all loved the play and enjoyed seeing all the actors after. Britney loved meeting Cinderella and the step sisters. Good job Meg and Paige! While I was there I ran into one of my good friends from my dancing days at BYU. Her daughter was also in the play. It was fun to catch up with her!

 

Christmas Tree Storage

I've been avoiding this project...which is why it's February and our tree is still up. My friend Tobi and I decided to join forces and get a project done at her house and a project done at my house. So we cleaned her front room and put my Christmas tree away. It took quite a bit of work to get the plastic on it but we were able to do it. We got Josh and his buddy to come help us tip the tree over and carry it through the front door and to the garage into it's storage spot for the year. Hopefully it's that easy to get it back out next season!
