Soccer

Brynlee has always wanted to play soccer and is constantly outside playing soccer with the boys, so we finally put her on a team so she could play.  She loves it and has enjoyed learning how to play. Luckily the team practices close to our house and most of their games are at the park up the street. Good job Bryn!

Babies!

This cute girl LOVES playing with babies. And she loves to take them all outside to play with her. She is such a sweetheart and has such a sweet personality. We love her to pieces!

Post Birthday Bash Parties

With having rented and borrowed all the stuff we set up for the party, we wanted to make sure we got a lot of use out of it. After the birthday party was over we ended up with most of the cousins that stayed longer, some that joined us late, neighbors, and some of the friends that we watched for the afternoon. So they continued playing, and playing, and playing. Once the masses were gone we opened up the hot tub for the kids and they spent the afternoon bouncing from the slides to the hot tub.

In the evening we had invited any and all of our friends to come over and bring their kids to play. So after the guys got home from the BYU game they brought their families over and the kids continued playing and jumping in the hot tub. I don't think they would've lasted an hour had we not had the hot tub. It was chilly!!! Jeff came up with an obstacle course using the inflatables and spent probably 90 min timing the kids running the course. Jeff and Amy brought their puppies that they are selling and they kids went nuts. It was such a fun, and very exhausting day!!!

Big Birthday Bash!

We have been planning this party for weeks! Brynlee has always wanted an outdoor party but her bday is in October, so when I started planning Brooklyn's party I gave the girls the option of combining parties and doing one HUGE water party. It turned out perfect and all the girls had SO much fun! The only time to have it happened to be when Josh had a BYU game, so he helped me get all the big stuff set up and then took off while me and the girls finished up. I had blown up 30 balloons the night before and we started hanging them up, just to have a wind and rain storm blow through. All our decorations went flying, we didn't have time to finish putting the balloons up, and I was about in tears wondering what I was going to do if it was raining during the party. But thank heavens the storm passed and we quickly put up the decorations we could and were ready for the girls to arrive! I counted 48 girls!!! We had snow cones, cotton candy, popcorn, and pretzels. We had inflatable water slides, a bounce house, and one giant slip n slide. I bought inner tubes to go down the slip n slide and it was a hit! The girls enjoyed every minute of playing with their friends. I'm thinking we should do this every year for their birthdays. It really was SO much fun!

Speedy

2 weeks ago we were heading out the door for church when Josh went outside to feed the turtle real quick. He came in panicking bc something had attacked Speedy. It turned out a couple of rats got him and chewed off 1 leg and severely bit another. Josh was traumatized as were we all. The next day Josh took him to the vet to get stitched up and we've been caring for him ever since. When we got home from the cabin we were sad to find that Speedy didn't make it. The kids were really upset. Josh took him outside and buried him in his little area he stayed in during the summer. Brynlee has been really sad and we often find her outside next to where he's buried. Breaks my heart.

Cabin Trip - Day 2

We had another wonderful day! We headed up to the old cabin to hike and let the kids explore around up there. We hiked to the pond and the kids loved throwing rocks in and hiking around. We headed back to the other cabin, ate, 4-wheeled, cleaned up, and headed out. It was a quick trip, but definitely worth it!
