Fernanda's Birthday

We had Josh's family over to our house to celebrate Fernanda's birthday. We had a ton of yummy food and it was fun to relax and hang out a bit. Happy bday Fernanda!

The kids were so cute I tried to take a few pictures after church. This pictures sums up how it went:

 We invited the Ericson's over to our house to celebrate Fernanda's birthday. We had a great bbq for dinner, cake, presents, and ice cream. It was a lot of fun!

Field Trip

Brooklyn's preschool class had a fieldtrip to the fire station. It was a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed it. Here's Brayden trying to hold a very heavy tool.

Cabin - Day 3

On Sunday morning we decided to go to the old cabin and go for a nice Sunday walk. The colors changing in the mountains were gorgeous. Michael and Natalie were staying at the old cabin with some friends so it was fun to see them a little bit. They had carrots that the kids got to feed the horses. 

 After we fed the horses we started on our walk. The girls were so cute all trying to hold hands.

 

We made it to the pond where we threw in a bunch of rocks and sticks. The kids enjoyed being by the water.

 After we got back we had a yummy lasagna for lunch. Celeste and Nate headed out while we hung around with Justin and Ali while the kids napped. Then we quickly cleaned up and headed home!

Cabin - Day 1 & 2

We headed up to the cabin with my brother Justin and his family as well as my sister Celeste and her family. Between us we had 8 kids under the age of 5. Yes...it was pretty crazy. But so much fun it was worth it. We went up on Friday night as soon as Josh got off work. Nate and Celeste me us up there. We enjoyed a little time with the kids then put them to bed. We stayed up playing games all night. Saturday morning Justin and Ali came up. We mostly played outside and inside all day. Here are the guys playing horseshoes.

 And of course Brynlee was following anyone around. She loved having her hands in her pockets and wouldn't take them out.

 We usually had to do meals in 2 shifts...first the kids, then the adults. Here are 7 of the kids ready for dinner:

 We put together the marble track and the kids loved it. Of course they all fought over the marbles, eventhough I took about 60 marbles.

 Nothing like a little wrestling with uncle Justin before bed! We put the kids to bed then played games again all night.

Sick Brayden + Washing Lexi

Brayden caught a little 24 hr fever. The only good thing about sick kids is that they love to cuddle. By the evening it was time to get him off the couch and in the sun. So I took him outside while Josh and the girls washed the dog. 

Classic Fun Center

We went to the Classic Fun Center with Amy and her kids. I have not been there in years, and wow was I surprised. They have completely redone it. The kids had SO much fun. We ended up being there for almost 4 hours. We hardly saw Jaxon and Brayden. They were running all over the place. Claire and Brooklyn were really good about letting Brynlee tag along with them. Overall, it was one of the funnest days we've had in a while!

Farewell Aaron!

The time finally came for Aaron to leave for his mission to Spain. We headed to the Ericson's in the morning for a great waffle breakfast. We relaxed and talked for a while, took a bunch of pictures, then said our goodbyes. We all know he will be an amazing missionary. We'll miss you Aaron!
