Safety Kid's Fair

I absolutely love living 2 minutes from the expo center. Last Friday was the Safety Fair and the kids had a blast. We met our friends from our old ward there. Brayden hasn't seen Garrett in over 9 months, so he had a lot of fun with him. It was fun to catch up with Kim as well. There were plenty of sports related activites, and of course Brayden spent most of the time at those booths. Luckily, it wasn't very crowded so he got plenty of chances to do what he wanted. At the golf booth they even gave him his own little golf club! Score!

Steve's Birthday

The 21st was Josh's dad's birthday. Brayden had a pretty nasty cold, so I left everyone home so I could enjoy church. Apparently while I was gone the kids learned a new trick. This is what I came home to:

They both would climb up into the window then jump off onto the beanbag. I was really surprised Brooklyn jumped. They both were loving it.

That night we went over to the Ericson's for dinner and presents. Happy Birthday Steve!

Where Have We Been?

This is definitely the longest I have gone without blogging. It has been pretty crazy around here the past few weeks. We decided to put our house up for sale, so we have been scrambling to get it ready. We had a new roof put on as well as new siding, we've finished sheetrocking the garage, finished the bathroom downstairs, finished all baseboards, touched up paint, and boxed up half our stuff. We got a storage unit across the street to put all our stuff in. (It's amazing how much easier it is to keep our house clean with 75% of our stuff gone!) The sign went up this past week and I finally feel ready to start showing the house.

I'll hopefully be posting pictures soon. We have worked really hard and hope that it will pay off by selling the house quickly. We've put an offer on another house that is better suited for us, so hopefully all goes well so we can move into it in the next few months. We'll see!

Valentine's Day

This year V-day was pretty much non-existent. Because we have been spending SO much time working on our house, we were completely exhausted. And to top it off, Josh came down with the flu Sunday morning. We missed Stake Conference while I took care of a sick husband and semi-sick kids. We left Josh home and went over to the Ericson's for their extended family FHE. It was fun for the kids to get out of the house and run around a bit. Here's our only V-day pictures:

Brayden was so excited for Valentine's day. He couldn't stop saying, "Happy Valentine's Day!" to everyone. I bought cards for him to give to dad, grandma, and grandpa and he thoroughly enjoyed signing them and handing them out. His little voice just melts my heart!

Jungle Jims

Brayden and Brooklyn were invited to a birthday party for Jaxon and Claire at Jungle Jims. The kids LOVED it like always. Here are the kids on the carousel - Brooklyn's favorite:

Random Cuteness

I really can't get enough of this little girl! Every time we go to the Ericson's house, Brooklyn goes straight for the pantry and grabs a box of Corn Pops. She'll then carry her little cup of cereal around for the rest of the night while she eats it and also feeds it to their dog. I love how she is trying to scoop them out with a measuring cup in these pictures. So cute!!!
