My family does Thanksgiving every other year, so since we were with them last year we were supposed to be with Josh's family this year. The only problem was that half of them went to St. George for Aaron's soccer tournament. So we ended up having a Thanksgiving dinner with them the Sunday before. We wanted to just stay home, but figured we should be grateful for all the wonderful offers we got for dinner, so we ended up going to my grandma's house. I was a little worried since dinner was at 2, which is right when the kids nap. Luckily, Brooklyn took a nap at 12:15 (first time ever!) and we were able to enjoy the afternoon without tired kids. Brayden made it until the end when we started getting pretty sleepy. Here's a picture of 3/4 of the group:Dinner was SO yummy. We're so grateful my grandparents were able to squeeze us in. After dinner the kids were playing and I couldn't believe it when I turned around and Brooklyn was chillin' on the floor like this. I remember those days when I was that flexible!
My aunt lives next door with a bunch of animals. As soon as we pulled up Brayden didn't stop asking to feed them, so after dinner Josh and my dad took the kids over to see the animals.
Every time we go to my aunt's house Brayden gets braver. This time he actually went inside to pet the sheep! This is progress! Here he is with my aunt petting and feeding the sheep.
Brooklyn loved the swingset, of course.
On our way back to my grandma's for pie Brooklyn decided to chase the rooster. She was laughing so hard we couldn't help but laugh as well.
