So we did a thing. We noticed the dance convention we did last weekend was going to cedar city this weekend so we registered a few months ago and headed down for another weekend of dancing. My girls were nervous to dance without knowing anyone but it ended up being the best experience. They all made new friends and danced without any pressure from being around girls from the studio.
Brooklyn blew me away and I’ve never seen her dance like she did this weekend. She had more confidence in herself than I’ve seen her have in years and I really believe it’s bc she got to go in and not worry about anyone she knew judging her and deciding beforehand what she was capable of. And she killed it! She won the improv competition and also walked away with the highest award from this convention! She will now be a teen true performer until she moves to the senior age division!!
Congrats
Brooklyn! SO SO proud of you!!*Brielle has been the apprentice for the mini age division for the past 2 years but now has moved to the junior age group and has to start over to earn the title again. Britney and Brynlee just won the apprentice titles last weekend for their respective age groups (mini and junior). Now Brooklyn will join them as a teen true performer (same as apprentice but called true performer for the teen and senior age divisions)!! I have only dreamed of this actually happening bc it’s so hard to earn these titles. I can’t wait to watch the 3 of them compete at nationals against all the other winners from across the country!
