Because of the convention in Cedar City we couldn't get flights to California until late Sunday night, but we flew into the smaller Orange County airport which is closer to Balboa Island. The flight was quick and picking up our rental van was easy and quick as well so we made it to our rental house by midnight. The kids quickly fell asleep. We slept in then headed to the beach with the Brauns. It was windy but warm wo the kids loved it. I couldn't believe how many sand dollars they were able to find. They spent hours walking the beach looking for them, boogie boarding, playing football, and enjoying time together. After we got all showered we walked down and got the infamous frozen bananas.
