Hawaii - Part 3

The company trip was 6 days. Don had opened up a competition within his team that the top 2 qualifiers would get to go to Kauai with him for an extra couple of days. Well Josh was the only one that qualified for Hawaii so that meant we got to go to Kauai once the company trip ended. It was incredible. Oahu with the company ended up being very busy and not much relaxing, but the resort at Kauai was so nice we didn't want to leave. When we first got to Kauai we couldn't check in for a few hours so we headed out on an excursion. We kayaked 45 min up a river then went on an hour hike up to a waterfall. It was breathtaking. Unfortunately Alysha has a bad hip still (broken femur 2 years ago) so it was a rough hike for her but she made it! It really was the prettiest hike and the waterfall was beautiful. After we got to our resort we only left to eat dinner each night. The rest of the time was spent relaxing at the pools and on the beach. It was the perfect way to end our Hawaii trip!

Hawaii - Part 1

Josh ended the year in the top 300 of his company and earned the Hawaii trip! We've been looking forward to this trip all year (hoping that he would qualify). It was every bit as amazing as people said it was. The Brauns also qualified so we spent the trip with them. Every year they do this trip on a different island and this year was Oahu. The hotel was on Waikiki Beach, which was great except there were people everywhere. There were too many people at the resort so we didn't spend much time there. We drove to the north shore a few times and went on some pretty walks and did some shopping. We also visited the Laie temple and walked through the visitor center. And we ate. A lot. Every day was centered around where we were going to eat next. Lots of good food and great company.

Weber Clinic

While we were in Hawaii and the other girls were at Intrigue, Brooklyn was busy attending the Weber Recruitment Clinic. Colleges aren't really doing auditions anymore bc they are signing girls from these recruitment clinics. Brooklyn killed it and ended up getting the technique stand out award!
