We headed up to the cabin to listen to general conference and to get one more cabin trip in before the snow comes. It was so beautiful up there with all the trees changing colors. We tried something new for conference and had bags of candy with words on them...so every time you heard that a word said you could have a piece of candy. Ummm...big mistake. The candy went SO fast and the girls were having a hard time bc they wanted to do the new crafts we took up but they were trying to focus on the candy. So after 3 talks we stopped doing the candy and just let them eat whatever they wanted (they are good and don't ever care to eat too much.) That way they spent almost all 8 hours crafting and listening which was so great. Another new thing we tried was last Sunday we sat down and everyone wrote out a couple of questions they had and hoped to have answered during conference. We hung them up on the tv so we could write down which talk addressed each questions so we can go back later and study them.
As for our time at the cabin...it was awesome. The kids had a lot of fun and always love the 4-wheelers. Brayden wasn't able to come with us so we brought Andi up instead which is always fun for the girls.
