Halloween

I don't know if I like holidays as much with the kids getting older lol. They all had different ideas of what they wanted to do this year. Brayden went to a party with his friends, Brooklyn had friends over for a party at our house, Brynlee also had friends over to swim and go trick or treating, Brielle went with her friend Rheyce and kids from their neighborhood, and Britney went over to Evelyn's neighborhood to trick or treat. Which meant that left Josh and me hanging out at home rather than walking kids around the neighborhood. And while I thought it would be a pretty chill night, I literally spent the night running kids around then picking them all up. But the kids all had a blast and enjoyed the evening.

 

Ericson Halloween Party

Not going to lie...2 Halloween parties in one day is awesome. It was great to not have to get the kids all dressed up twice for our family parties. We headed to the Ericson's after the Brewer's and continued our celebrations. We ate more food, took a lot of pics, and carved pumpkins.

 

Brewer Halloween Party

Since we all have early church, we decided it would be fun to have my family's Halloween party in the afternoon. It was fun to hang out with them, play games, and eat great food.

 

BYU Game

I got my wires taken out as soon as we flew in from our trip, so I wasn't doing well enough to go to the BYU game. Brooklyn and Brielle were able to go with Josh and they had a lot of fun!

 

Balboa - Day 4

We had thought about going to Sea World or the San Diego Zoo, but ultimately decided we didn't want to travel that far so we headed to Knott's Berry Farm instead. The kids loved going on all the roller coasters...Josh and me not so much lol. We went on a few rides but they made us pretty nauseous so we got really picky at what rides we went on the rest of the day. Josh and Brayden both paid to do the basketball game and they both won prizes! I was impressed. And I'm pretty sure I got a mild concussion from one of the roller coasters at the end of the day...that was fun. But all in all it was a lot of fun!
