The kids like to read through my blog books and I often find them reading them. Brynlee grabbed one of the books randomly and was reading it. She happened to grab the year that Samantha passed away. Because she just learned to read this year I don't think she had ever read through the journaling I did from that week. I found her on the floor and on the couch for about 45 minutes reading through the book and looking at all the pictures. It broke my heart to see her struggle with it as she learned more of the details from that week. I was able to talk to her and comfort her after she finished. We love Sammie and continue to think about her all the time.
