This is always a hard day every year. Rachelle and Sean spent the afternoon cleaning Sammie's headstone and spending time at the cemetery. We invited them to join us in the evening for our annual balloon release so they came as well as my mom. We all wrote notes to Sammie and tied them onto balloons. We sang to Samantha, shared memories, and released the balloons. It was peaceful and nice to spend that time together remembering our little angel.
