When we realized that Aaron and Vivian would be on their honeymoon only 20 minutes from us, we decided to take them to Xcaret as their wedding gift. We did Xplor and Xel-ha last time, so we wanted to check this place out. It was SO amazing and lots of fun. It was great to be able to hang out with them all day. This place was a little different than the other 2 places in that there wasn't as much to do, but there was more to see. Lots of animals and cultural sites. They did have a cave swim which was really cool...probably the highlight of the day. We bought the picture package so we spent a lot of time around the park taking pictures with their system. We decided we liked Xel-ha the best of the 3 places, but we are glad we got to experience them all this year.
After we made it back from Xcaret we went to one of the restaurants for dinner. We soaked again in the tub as we watched all of the Super Tuesday results coming in. We stayed up WAY too late watching the election results, but it was fascinating and fun to just relax.
