We had planned on waiting until 8 yrs old to let the girls get their ears pierced. The past few months Brooklyn hasn't stopped talking about having an earring party. For some reason she thought she had to have an earring party to be able to get earrings. When we decided on doing a gymnastics party, she thought that meant no earrings. We decided to go ahead and surprise her for her birthday. So Friday night, 2 days before her birthday, we took the kids to the mall and told Brooklyn it was time to pierce her ears. Again she didn't quite understand and asked if she still would get a gymnastics party. Silly girl. She was super brave and didn't even cry. She loves the earrings and can't wait to change them out...of course she thought to change earrings she would have to go back and have them pierce them again with different ones.
