Nick and Kesha had the brilliant idea to take the kids to Disney on Ice. Josh has been when he was little, but I've never been before. We had awesome seats and loved every minute of it. We've been watching the Lion King lately to get ready for it. Brayden was glued to every minute of it. Of course his favorite was Simba, but he also liked Tinkerbell and Mickey. Here they are completely enthralled in the performance:

Brooklyn did not do so well. She was good toward the beginning, but the second half was horrible. She won't even sit at home to watch a show, so we weren't sure that she would last long. As soon as bed time hit, she couldn't calm down and was very restless. Luckily it was pretty loud so no one was bothered by her screams. Here she is during 5 of the good minutes while I gave her a sucker:

Our little family. I have to admit as soon as we sat down I started choking up a bit as I had one of those moments of overwhelming love for Josh and our kids and they are enjoying life as a family. It's so fun that they are getting older and we can start doing things like this together.

I've thought about taking my kids, but didn't know how my boys would respond. Good to know your little boy loved it!
Shantelle! Girl, your kids are so cute and so big! What fun you all have! I want to take Ella to Disney on Ice someday...I know she would just love it!
