After Dance Fun

After the Dare 2 Dance competition we headed to Leatherby's for food and ice cream. The girls love that place and it was fun to be there with their dance friends. A bunch all headed back to our house to swim and hang out.

 

After Game Huddle

I love watching the coaches talk to the team after games. Sometimes it's positive and encouraging but sometimes it's not quite so much. Lol. It's always good though and the boys seem to go away motivated to come back and continue working hard for the next game. 

 

Dry Needling

Brooklyn injured her high hamstring back in January and it has been a hard injury to heal in the middle of the dance comp season. This is where I injured my leg before it popped my bone off when I was 15 so naturally I freaked out when she started having pain there. So she has been super careful with it and stopped doing the moves that hurt and stretch that muscle. We've also been going to the physical therapist so he could help. He suggested dry needling and I honestly didn't think I could get Brooklyn to do it. This girl literally has had melt downs and panic attacks when we've gone to get flu shots so the idea of needles going into her leg was something I thought she couldn't handle. But she thought it through and decided she wanted to give it a try. Luckily she barely felt them and she said it seemed to help!

 

Bingham Basketball Banquet

It has been such a great experience to be a part of the Bingham basketball family this year. Brayden has loved every minute of it and has enjoyed the friendships he has made. We had the year end banquet where they recognized all the teams as well as the graduating seniors.

Bunnies

The girls LOVE to do any type of craft. When I got started on my annual dance stuffed animals they all wanted to help with any part that they could. We ended up painting the skirts of Brooklyn's team animal and they were thrilled to be able to help. I'll have to post the final product when they are done!

 

St. George - Family Day 5

Today was another chill day. The guys all went golfing again today so I took our kids over to Paradise Village to swim with friends that are staying there. We ended up staying for most of the afternoon hanging out with them and a bunch of other dancers we ran into. We hung out for the evening playing games and the kids decided to do a couple rounds of random competitions like wall sits and push ups. It's been a great week and SO much fun!!

 

St. George - Family Day 4

Today the boys all went golfing while the girls relaxed for the morning. We took the kids over to the pool for a bit then headed back to the condo for lunch. After Levi woke up from his nap we headed to Sandhollow Lake with some of Michael and Natalie's friends. We found a great spot on the beach and set up canopies and chairs and let the kids play for the rest of the day. They loved going out on the paddle boards and playing in the sand. We packed everything up and went to their friend's house for dinner then headed back to the condo. The kids were beat from being in the sun all day!
