RS Summer Salad Social

I hosted the salad social for the ladies in our neighborhood. It was fun to have everyone over and it was fun to visit with everyone that came! I was afraid it would be too cold or windy, but the evening was great and we all enjoyed it!

All Dressed Up

I had to snap a quick pic of all these beautiful girls! They are the best of friends and spend every minute that they can together!

Go BYU!

After the girls were finished with their birthday party, they headed down to BYU with the Jensens to go to the BYU game. I'm not sure how much of the game they actually watched, but they had a lot of fun and ate a lot of fun food!

Big Birthday Blowout!

We originally planned on doing a combined water birthday party again like last year, but then I decided it was just too much work and expensive to rent the waterslides. So we thought a lot about it and decided it would be fun to rent the gymnastics gym again. We found out it was cheaper to rent the gym for 4 hrs at the same time, rather than 2 hours twice in different months. So we picked a date between the girls' birthdays and had a huge party! We did Brynlee's party first, then Brooklyn's. We had lots and lots of girls coming and going throughout the 4 hrs. The only injury was Brynlee...the ring swung back and hit her in the face. But she was quickly back at it! We were all exhausted by the end!

Empower Open House

Empower was holding an open house so I went over early to help set up. Then I headed home and grabbed all the girls so we could go have snow cones and cookies! We brought a few friends and neighbors to check out the place. We love Empower and we love dance!

1st Day of Preschool

Britney has been waiting for this day since the other kids all started school. Of course now all the other kids are off track, but she was still excited to go. She's so little! But she's a little smartie pants so she will do just fine!

St. George - Days 3, 4, & 5

Sunday we were going to go to church, but Josh forgot his church clothes and by the time we were going to get ready it was too late and everyone was hungry. Grandma brought new gel pens so the girls did that non stop. I bathed all the girls and Vivian did their hair super cute. We headed to Chuck-a-rama for lunch which is always a favorite. We don't swim on Sundays, so we spent the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying being together. After dinner we all headed over to the pickle ball courts and played lawn games and took turns doing pickle ball bc the courts were full so we only had one to use. We put all the girls to bed then the adults continued playing Pickleball until the lights turned off at 11. I've never played pickle ball...it's SO much fun! We really enjoyed it!

Monday Natalie didn't want to take her kids swimming bc they were leaving that day, so I just took my kids swimming. We swam for about 20 minutes before the rain started coming down. So we ran back to the condo just in time for a huge fast storm to hit. So we hung out the rest of the day until Michael and Natalie, Rachael and Ben, and Vivian and Aaron were all packed up. They all had to head home for school and work. It was perfect bc our kids are now off track! Everyone headed to the Pizza Factory for dinner before they all headed back to SLC. We enjoyed a peaceful night with just us and grandma and grandpa.

Tuesday I took the kids over to swim, then Josh switched me places so I could clean the condo and pack. We had to be out by 11 so it was nice to have the kids out so I could do it all without distractions. The kids just swam and swam and swam! Brielle has gotten much more comfortable without her floaties which is huge! She absolutely loved jumping off the little cliff and swimming on her own to the edge. Good job Brielle! Once we were packed and cleaned up from the condo we got the kids dressed and settled for their ride back home. We had to stop a time or two for lunch and potty breaks, but it went pretty fast and we made it home just in time for Brooklyn to go to her first day of dance for the new year!
