Sunday we were going to go to church, but Josh forgot his church clothes and by the time we were going to get ready it was too late and everyone was hungry. Grandma brought new gel pens so the girls did that non stop. I bathed all the girls and Vivian did their hair super cute. We headed to Chuck-a-rama for lunch which is always a favorite. We don't swim on Sundays, so we spent the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying being together. After dinner we all headed over to the pickle ball courts and played lawn games and took turns doing pickle ball bc the courts were full so we only had one to use. We put all the girls to bed then the adults continued playing Pickleball until the lights turned off at 11. I've never played pickle ball...it's SO much fun! We really enjoyed it!
Monday Natalie didn't want to take her kids swimming bc they were leaving that day, so I just took my kids swimming. We swam for about 20 minutes before the rain started coming down. So we ran back to the condo just in time for a huge fast storm to hit. So we hung out the rest of the day until Michael and Natalie, Rachael and Ben, and Vivian and Aaron were all packed up. They all had to head home for school and work. It was perfect bc our kids are now off track! Everyone headed to the Pizza Factory for dinner before they all headed back to SLC. We enjoyed a peaceful night with just us and grandma and grandpa.
Tuesday I took the kids over to swim, then Josh switched me places so I could clean the condo and pack. We had to be out by 11 so it was nice to have the kids out so I could do it all without distractions. The kids just swam and swam and swam! Brielle has gotten much more comfortable without her floaties which is huge! She absolutely loved jumping off the little cliff and swimming on her own to the edge. Good job Brielle! Once we were packed and cleaned up from the condo we got the kids dressed and settled for their ride back home. We had to stop a time or two for lunch and potty breaks, but it went pretty fast and we made it home just in time for Brooklyn to go to her first day of dance for the new year!
