More 1st Days of School

Between the 5 kids we had 4 different starting dates for school. Here are the pictures of the girls on their first days of school.

1st Day of Jr. High!

Brayden has been nervous and excited for school to start. We've gone over to the school a couple of times to walk around and find his classes, his locker, etc. so he couldn't have been more ready! He had a great day and loves it already!

Brooklyn's Birthday

11! Brooklyn has been counting down the days to her birthday! Always a bummer when it's on a Sunday, but we made the most of it. We had the Ericson's over for dinner and enjoyed celebrating with them. We made campfire cones as dessert and they were super yummy!

Brooklyn's Birthday Party

Brooklyn always has so many friends she  wants to invite to her bday party that we have to get creative how to entertain them all. This year we did a movie night! We borrowed Sean's projector and screen and had all the girls come in their pajamas and bring pillows and blankets. It was a blast! They had a ton of fun running around until it got dark enough for the money. I had some technical difficulties with the sound, but finally got it worked out so they could hear the movie. So fun!!!

Samantha's 8th Birthday

This was a hard birthday to celebrate knowing that Samantha would be getting baptized. We got together with the Brewers this year and had a nice time remembering Sammie. We met at a park for dinner and the kids played, then we headed up to the cemetery. Rachelle let the butterflies go and the kids always enjoy playing with those. We also did our traditional balloon release. It was a nice time to spend with all the family. As we were loading up Brynlee was especially sad and upset. I walked her back over to the headstone where Rachelle was spending her last moments and Brynlee and Rachelle shared some special moments together. Sammie was only 9 months younger than Brynlee and she's always felt a bond with Sammie. It touched Rachelle to know how much Samantha means to her. We love and miss her everyday!

Bowling

The summer fun continues! We went bowling today and the kids had a blast! I love that they enjoy being together and will tolerate each other long enough to have some fun. 

Summer Fun!

We continue to be loving our long summer! The girls have had a few dance camps and summer intensives, so we try to do fun things in-between. And one of their favorite things is to go to the gymnastics gym and work on their tumbling! They worked super hard and started getting some new tricks including back twists. It's fun for me to see them all love it so much. After we were done we grabbed some lunch and headed over to a friend's house so they could swim all afternoon! They were exhausted by the end of the day!
