This was a hard birthday to celebrate knowing that Samantha would be getting baptized. We got together with the Brewers this year and had a nice time remembering Sammie. We met at a park for dinner and the kids played, then we headed up to the cemetery. Rachelle let the butterflies go and the kids always enjoy playing with those. We also did our traditional balloon release. It was a nice time to spend with all the family. As we were loading up Brynlee was especially sad and upset. I walked her back over to the headstone where Rachelle was spending her last moments and Brynlee and Rachelle shared some special moments together. Sammie was only 9 months younger than Brynlee and she's always felt a bond with Sammie. It touched Rachelle to know how much Samantha means to her. We love and miss her everyday!
