1st Day of Preschool

Britney has been waiting for this day since the other kids all started school. Of course now all the other kids are off track, but she was still excited to go. She's so little! But she's a little smartie pants so she will do just fine!

St. George - Days 3, 4, & 5

Sunday we were going to go to church, but Josh forgot his church clothes and by the time we were going to get ready it was too late and everyone was hungry. Grandma brought new gel pens so the girls did that non stop. I bathed all the girls and Vivian did their hair super cute. We headed to Chuck-a-rama for lunch which is always a favorite. We don't swim on Sundays, so we spent the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying being together. After dinner we all headed over to the pickle ball courts and played lawn games and took turns doing pickle ball bc the courts were full so we only had one to use. We put all the girls to bed then the adults continued playing Pickleball until the lights turned off at 11. I've never played pickle ball...it's SO much fun! We really enjoyed it!

Monday Natalie didn't want to take her kids swimming bc they were leaving that day, so I just took my kids swimming. We swam for about 20 minutes before the rain started coming down. So we ran back to the condo just in time for a huge fast storm to hit. So we hung out the rest of the day until Michael and Natalie, Rachael and Ben, and Vivian and Aaron were all packed up. They all had to head home for school and work. It was perfect bc our kids are now off track! Everyone headed to the Pizza Factory for dinner before they all headed back to SLC. We enjoyed a peaceful night with just us and grandma and grandpa.

Tuesday I took the kids over to swim, then Josh switched me places so I could clean the condo and pack. We had to be out by 11 so it was nice to have the kids out so I could do it all without distractions. The kids just swam and swam and swam! Brielle has gotten much more comfortable without her floaties which is huge! She absolutely loved jumping off the little cliff and swimming on her own to the edge. Good job Brielle! Once we were packed and cleaned up from the condo we got the kids dressed and settled for their ride back home. We had to stop a time or two for lunch and potty breaks, but it went pretty fast and we made it home just in time for Brooklyn to go to her first day of dance for the new year!

St. George - Days 1 & 2

Yay for St. George! We've all been SO excited for this little trip. Kay rented a really nice house for all of us to stay in and it was a blast. A few days before we left she got an email explaining how the unit we rented had flooded so they sent us a few other units that were available. One of the options was the BIG condo that was double the size as the one that flooded. Of course we all chose that one and it didn't disappoint! The place was absolutely amazing. There were 7 King bedrooms each with their own bathroom, 2 bunk bed rooms each with their own bathroom, a giant theater room, hot tub, ping pong, and so many other fun features. The drive went pretty well. Steve and Kay took Brayden and Brooklyn, Brynlee went with Mckinsley, and Oakley came with us. We made it down there quite quickly with only one stop. It was a little too late to go swimming, so we let all the kids jump in the hot hot tub so they could head to bed. A few of us went to the store to stock up on food for the weekend. On Saturday the guys got up and spent half the day golfing. The rest of us took the kids swimming. They didn't stop swimming! We took a break for lunch and relaxed around the condo for the afternoon. Once the guys got back Vivian, Natalie, and I went shopping! We were just going to go for a couple of hours, but couldn't stop shopping so ended up being out til late. The guys took the kids swimming after dinner then put them all to bed! It was a great day!

Ball Pit

My neighbor gave us this little swimming pool they never used. So naturally we had to get out all our balls and make a ball pit out of it. The little ones haven't stopped playing in it...even with their iPads I found them camped out in the balls.

Ummm...

This girl. She was standing in the kitchen and said she was just feeling like she wanted to do an arch on the counter. What?! At least she asked first so I agreed, but told her she had to try and wipe the counter while she was up there. I handed her a rag and she made a great attempt.
