Celebrating Brooklyn's Birthday

We have a family reunion tomorrow on Brooklyn's birthday so we decided to celebrate it tonight. We headed to Chuck-a-rama for dinner then stopped of at the Ericson's to open presents. Among other things I got her a sewing machine and she is super excited! Now we will need to learn to use it!

Celebrating Sammie's Birthday

This is always a hard day every year. Rachelle and Sean spent the afternoon cleaning Sammie's headstone and spending time at the cemetery. We invited them to join us in the evening for our annual balloon release so they came as well as my mom. We all wrote notes to Sammie and tied them onto balloons. We sang to Samantha, shared memories, and released the balloons. It was peaceful and nice to spend that time together remembering our little angel. 

Britney

When it is quiet for too long, I go to investigate. I found Britney in the sink washing her feet with her Oaf soap. She is always way too cute to get mad at, so again I just grabbed my camera to take some pics. I left her to continue playing bc she was being so good and having so much fun. 

Beauty and the Beast

We spent the day working in the yard then headed out for the evening. Brayden went with the Sliwoskis for the weekend to their cabin, so it was just us and the girls. I didn't realize 3 of the girls would want to wear Belle dresses, so I scrambled all afternoon trying to find some. I borrowed one from a neighbor and bought 2 from Kid 2 Kid. They ended up being darling dresses and the girls loved them. We met up with Steve, Kay, and Rachael at La Costa for dinner, which was SO good like always. We then headed up the street to the Sandy Amphitheater for the Beauty and the Beast play. Josh's buddy from work is Gaston and of course the girls all want to see Belle. They always do such a good production, especially for being outside. The girls absolutely loved it and they did great the entire show! We loved being able to meet and talk with the characters afterwards. Such a fun evening!

"I Found Speedy!"

I was working in the yard and all of a sudden I heard Britney yelling, "I found Speedy! I found Speedy!" I turned around and saw her in Speedy's area in the yard and she as holding him. She was too cute to get mad at so I grabbed my camera instead and took a few pics

Park and Ice Cream

We promised the kids we would go to the gym and go swimming. Of course we showed up to the rec center and the pool was closed. I was so ticked and the kids were very upset about it. So we headed to the Gene Fullmer Rec Center to go swimming there, but I decided on the way I didn't want to pay to get us all in when we have a membership to SoJo. So we convinced the kids to go to the park and we would get ice cream afterwards. The kids played while Josh and I took turns running around the park. We grabbed Wendy's frostys on the way home and they loved it!
