Hollywood Dance Jamz

This was a new convention for our studio to go to so we weren't sure how it would go. But it ended up being a lot of fun and the girls really liked it! 2 girls from our studio were at the Minerette auditions so Brynlee got to fill in for one of their dances and she had a great experience doing so. Mckinley and Oakley were also at this convention so it was fun to see them and I got to hang with Natalie a little bit which was fun. We stayed in a hotel room so we didn't have to drive back and forth and that was a lot of fun too! The girls really enjoyed the teacher and the classes and killed it! Britney and Brynlee both made the call backs to audition on stage at the end of the convention. Britney got the second highest scholarship and Brynlee ended up with the top scholarship! It's called "I am the Jam". It was fun to see the look on her face when she realized she was going to get it. So proud of you Bryn!

 

Minerette Auditions

I can't believe we are already here again. It really seems like just the other day we were stressed and nervous waiting to find out if Brooklyn made the drill team. It was a much different experience this year not being a rookie lol. Unfortunately I was up in Ogden with the other girls for a dance convention so we didn't get to celebrate with Brooklyn when they announced the team. Josh was able to be there though and took a couple pics for us. It definitely was bitter sweet as Brooklyn is excited for the new year but SO sad to say goodbye to the seniors. 

 

Promposal

Brayden is asking one of the Lacrosse players to Prom that he hasn't met before lol. I love that kids these days don't have to know the person they want to take to a dance. It's a great way to get to know more people! 

 

Fieldtrips

These girls had field trips on the same day! Britney went to Hogle Zoo and Brielle had the Biztown experience. They both got all cute and dressed up and had the funnest day! I lucked out that one of my friends was the chaperone of Britney's little group so she sent me pics!

 

Desert Star Playhouse

My mom took me to the Desert Star Playhouse in January with her season tickets and it was one of the best shows I've seen there...a spoof on Pirates of the Carribean. We had gift certificates from last year's Christmas we still hadn't used so I was determined to find a night when I could take our kids to see it. I finally figured out a night where the girls could miss only a little bit of dance and Brayden was available as well. We invited Josh's parents along and it was such a fun night. We all loved the play and it is always fun being together. 

 

St. Patrick’s Day

Lucky had double duty this year! He found Britney in Chicago and still managed to make a mess at hoe and leave the other kids a treasure!
