Britney’s 8th Birthday

What. A. Day. Dance competitions are already busy when you have 4 dancers, but then you throw a birthday in there and it becomes crazy town. Britney turned 8 today and she loved every minute of it! Little Brit genuinely loves everyone and gives the best hugs…so ya she’s naturally become everyone’s favorite. I got her a shirt that says “It’s my birthday” on it and gave her 3 sharpies and she was in heaven asking everyone to sign her shirt.

We were at the competition all morning then headed to Zupas for lunch. We had a short break in the afternoon so we went to the Rush Funplex where the girls enjoyed all the fun activities there. Then we stopped at a place called yonutz…ya it was amazing. The girls loved it!

We headed back to the competition in time for the 4 of them to dance the sister number they do together . Josh was able to come and sit with me as we watched our 4 girls on stage together. Yes we cried. There’s definitely something special about watching sisters dance.

Brynlee had 1 team dance tonight and Brooklyn had 3 so we watched a couple, snuck out for a quick dinner, then finished watching. Josh headed home and we headed across the street to the hotel where the girls passed out from exhaustion.

Happy birthday Britney!! She is definitely a light wherever she goes. I learn so much from watching her just love everyone. She is definitely the life of the party! I got emotional watching everyone all day love her so much and all the hugs they gave her, but at the end of the day…she’s mine and I get to take her home. Love ya miss Brit!
