Saturday birthdays are the best! Brooklyn and her friend Andi were so cute and decorated Brielle’s room last night while she was asleep, made her strawberry crepes and Orange Julius for breakfast, and curled her hair for her so she was ready for her big day. I had my BYU ballroom alumni reunion so I was gone for most of the morning. I was glad that Brooklyn and Andi were so excited to help make it special.
Brielle wants to wait til the pool is open for her bday party so I told her she could invite a friend and choose an activity to do for the afternoon. She invited her twin friends Kendyl and Sloane and out of all the places on the list I gave her she chose to go to Nielsens Custard for ice cream then play at the park (I was thrilled they chose to just be kids and play outside bc it saved me $100 to not go to the trampoline places!!) We came up with the idea to go park hopping so they spent 15-20 min at 6 different parks all within 5 min of our house. At the end of the 15 minutes they chose a fun picture to take for that park. They had SO much fun and I thoroughly enjoyed staying warm inside my car while I watched them. It turned out to be such a fun afternoon for her. We headed to her favorite restaurant, Chuck-a-Rama, for dinner with family then ended the night with presents. We love you Brielle!!
