Brooklyn’s Kids Night Out

Brooklyn is very motivated to earn money bc she is a teenage girl and likes to spend money. So we brainstormed a bunch of different ideas and this is what we came up with. A kids night out! Rather than trying to do kids camps during the week she chose to do a Friday night for 3 hrs. She had 17 kids sign up!!! It kept her (and I) busy and she definitely learned a lot. She learned that she could do 20 girls easier than 5 boys Lol. We also learned that we will need to prepare more for the boy group next time. The girls loved the crafts that she planned and were very easy to manage. The boys, on the other hand, needed to go and go and go. They played in the gym a lot but we definitely needed some boy type activities for the to focus on like lego competitions and stuff like that. But it worked out great and Brooklyn made some good money to pay for the Lagoon pass she wants and also some spending money. But more importantly she enjoyed it enough and thought through it enough to be able to do it on a more consistent basis...she's thinking once a month throughout the year!
