We volunteered to provide Christmas for a refugee family. It was a much bigger project than I expected and it was a lot of work but worth it. We had family and friends help donate money and items, wrapped them all up, then we were able to deliver them and spend some time with the family. They are a great LDS family and we enjoyed spending time with them. I chose this service project bc I wanted the kids to be able to be a part of the whole process including meeting the family we were giving Christmas to. I'm hoping it made a lasting impression on them and helped them realize how blessed we are.
