Britney Ann Ericson

The day is here!!! It's been a very enjoyable last pregnancy for me. I have tried to enjoy every minute of it, knowing that this is it! It started coming too fast and I wasn't ready emotionally for it to be all over. But then the baby dropped really low, super early, in my tummy so I was quite uncomfortable for the last 3 weeks. Monday morning we got up, got ready and headed out! Rachael slept at our house so she could watch the kids while we were gone.
My babies always have come SO fast, but this one took her sweet time. We thought for sure she would make her entrance by noon, but we were wrong! Of course it was our nurse that took her time. She was in no rush and even when the dr. said to up the pitocin she wouldn't do it. The dr. FINALLY got mad at her and told her to up the pitocin and then we finally got going. So we had been stuck at a 4 for a couple of hrs, then made it to a 5. 20 minutes later we were at a 10 and ready to push! Like all the other kids, she popped right out in less than 1 contraction (I think I pushed twice). I asked for a mirror with this one and so I was able to watch it all. It was AMAZING! I'm sad I didn't do that with all of them. I loved adding that to this experience. I can honestly say that I got everything out of this labor and delivery that I needed to to be able to have closure and not have any regrets moving forward (yes...I know I'm weird. I just really love being pregnant and having babies so it's been hard to close that chapter of my life.) N-e way...here she is! Britney Ann Ericson. (Ann is after my aunt, Cindy) 5lbs 14oz. 19" born at 3:26. In love!

After we got moved to our recovery room my parents stopped by, followed by Josh's dad and Michael and Natalie. Kids aren't allowed yet in the hospital, so we had to FaceTime with the kids.
