The Sunday before Christmas was pretty busy and stressful for me. I am the choir director in our ward and this year I ended up writing the Christmas program that my choir did for sacrament meeting. I have been working on it for 3 months and have been pretty nervous all week about it. It turned out to be a great program and the spirit was very strong. My parents, my aunt and grandma, and Josh's mom all came to support me. I was so pleased with how it turned out and was very overwhelmed with emotion by the end. Before church I managed to snap a quick pic of the kids in their cute Christmas outfits.
After church we didn't have much time before we headed off to Josh's mom's house for the Livingston Christmas Eve dinner and pinata. We did it a day early this year. Dinner was great and it was a fun evening visiting with everyone. Here are all the great grandkids in their Sunday outfits:All the grandkids and their spouses:
A much better pic of my kids in their Christmas outfits:
Brynlee didn't want to go near the pinata, but Brooklyn went at it.
Of course on Brayden's second swing the string broke and it dropped to the ground. So he ended up beating the thing until it cracked open. Such a fun tradition!
