I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that in the 10 years I've been out of my parents house, I've never bought a piano. Dancing, a mission, work, and kids always got in the way. While I was pregnant with Brooklyn I started realizing how much I missed playing the piano everyday, so I started saving up. It was pretty crowded in our little condo, so since we've moved I've been seriously looking for a piano. My mom and I have been looking on KSL for a used piano with no luck. This week I saw that Riverton music was having a liquidation sale so I decided to check it out. My parents came with me and after going back and forth between Riverton Music and the Piano Gallery, we found "the one." As soon as we saw it I knew I was going to take it home. Since I was trained on my parent's Baldwin grand piano, I absolutely love how Baldwins feel and sound. The salesman I had started working with ended up with his wife in the hospital to have a baby, so we were lucky to work with the owner of the store the rest of the week. He gave us an incredible deal that was within my budget. The piano was supposed to go to a school this year, but when it was delivered they sent it back wanting a grand piano. So this piano has never been used, eventhough we got it at the used price. And the best part is that I will be able to upgrade to a grand piano and they will trade this piano in and give me what I paid for it to go towards the upgrade. Pretty sweet deal, since I plan to get a grand piano at some point. N-e way, I love everything about this piano - the color, the touch, the sound...everything. Isn't it pretty?!

Congratulations! Owning a piano is a major life purchase! I'm glad to see you are having so much fun and that things are going well. Good luck keeping the kids off the piano. I ruined my mom's piano bench when I was little and I don't think she has ever forgiven me :)
Very nice!!! Congrats on your new purchase!! How fun!
Congratulations! That is so exciting!!!
I'm glad you finally got a piano, I'm sure it will be lots of fun for you. I always enjoyed listening to you play at home. In fact, everytime I here "The Waterfall" I think to myself, "this is too slow, it can be played much faster!" That's atleast how I remember it being played!!
I love all the posts that you have done. We are so glad that we were able to make it home and share Sadie's blessing with you. I love the piano. Just like Rachelle I did always love hearing you play the piano. :) Love ya guys. Can't wait till Christmas
That is a beautiful piano, Shantelle. I am so happy for you! I guess I should start saving up too. It's really hard not having one in the home, especially when you realize how much you love it. And it sounds like you got a really great deal, which makes it that much better! Congrats!
