Costume Animals!

My most favorite day during comp season! I've spent the past couple of months planning out these animals and getting them all made. They all turned out SO cute! The little thug raccoons were a studio favorite as they had all the matching accessories down to the bling around their necks. 

 

Cougarette Auditions

Brooklyn has the best friends and sisters that are always so supportive of her. Multiple people dropped off little good luck baskets and notes as she headed off to Cougarette auditions. We are proud of you Brooklyn! Good luck!

 

Intrigue - Houston

Britney and I headed to Houston for a quick Intrigue trip. Like always she killed it and had a great time. I love the network of dance friends my girls have across the country. It's always so fun spending time with them!

 

Prom

Brooklyn went to Prom with Alex Dabo and had a great time! 

 

Streetz - Convention

Convention! The girls love the classes at this convention and always do really well. And this time we went 3 for 3 in getting scholarships! I love when they all get to walk away feeling proud of the work they did and having that sense of accomplishment for getting recognized.

The girls did great in their team dances! It's so fun watching them kill it on stage and bond with their teammates. 

 

Brielle’s Birthday

What a day! Today was Brielle's solo and some of her team dances. It's never fun celebrating your bday at a dance comp but I did my best to make her feel special. I had a bunch of family, friends, and ward leaders write her little notes beforehand. Throughout the day random people would come up to Brielle and hand her a little note and a flower. She had 2 dozen roses by the end of the day! By favorite was the lady that handed her a rose when she went to check in for her solo. Brielle was embarrassed but also loved reading all the notes. We invited Dempsey to spend the night with us in the hotel so they could spend the day hanging out and celebrating.
