Shakes and Lights

Josh had his weekly Tuesday night work meeting so we headed down to meet up with him after for dinner and shakes. We drove around to see a couple known houses that are all decked out with Christmas lights. Love hanging out with the girls!

 

BYU Game

We ended up with 6 tickets to the BYU basketball game so we headed down for a great night! BYU has an awesome team this year and it is always fun to all be together!

 

Tuckers/Allmans

Sometimes last minute plans are the best plans. Tuckers and Allmans came over for dinner and to decorate gingerbread houses. It turned out to be a lot of fun and they spent hours on the houses. They did a good job too! Brooklyn didn't have a house buddy so we let her bring Cam and they did a great job!

 

Christmas Sunday

I can't believe how much the girls grow every year. Soon we will have to stand in one line bc they area all getting so tall. I played the piano in sacrament meeting today. My bishop had asked my to play a particular rendition of O Holy Night and I was pretty reluctant at first. It is a very classical and hard piece and I wasn't sure I could do it. But I finally agreed and I learned it. I actually love playing it bc it's so challenging. It wasn't the most spiritual piece, but it was fun to play and be a part of the program. 

 

Brewer Extended Christmas Party

Our yearly talent show with my dad's side of the family. It always provides lots of laugh, fun, and bad looks from my girls bc I make them dance. But they all did a great job!

 

Hale Center Theater - Frozen

Our annual Christmas tradition of going to Hale the week of Christmas. I love going with the family and they always do such a good job! It's my parents' Christmas/bday/Mother's/Father's Day gift every and it's fun to spend time with them. Unfortunately my dad couldn't make it this year but we still made it and enjoyed it!

 

Felix

Oh Felix! Our neighborhood started a fun game of finding and stealing Felix. The only rule is that he had to be on your porch and not totally hidden. It's been fun to see all the security videos posted of people stealing him, driving around looking for him, and sitting outside for an hour waiting for the golden moment to take him. He never stayed on our porch very long once people knew we were playing along, but it was fun to be a part of something so innocent and fun.
