Remembering 9-11

As the kids have gotten older they've had more and more questions about 9-11. Every year we talk to them about it and answer the questions they have. We had a little extra time Sunday afternoon so we ran down to the healing fields in Sandy. They set up one flag for each person that was killed that day and there is a tag attached to each flag with their names and story on them. We walked around reading their stories and talking about it. It was a very somber but peaceful afternoon. 

 

BYU Game

We are always excited for the BYU season to start. Last year it seemed like we never had enough tickets so this year we decided to get 3 tickets so I could go to as many games as I could. My brother got 2 tickets and Adam had a ticket with us as well. The first game Brayden and I went to and it was the most intense game I've ever been to (and I went to most of the games when I went to BYU). If you don't know what game I'm referring to...look it up. September 10, 2022 against Baylor. Can't wait for the next game!

 

The Twins

All my girls are in love with the neighbor twins and their younger sister and brother. They love seeing them at church every week, babysitting them, and matching with them. They all have the same dresses so they love when they show up to church and match.

 

New Patio Furniture

I've been wanting furniture on our back deck ever since we moved in. I've stood out there for hours trying to decide what I want and where to find it. I've gone to multiple stores multiple times wanting to fall in love with something and never could find what I wanted. I finally was able to narrow down my search and found what I wanted online and ordered it! It took me a few hours to put it together and I destroyed my back when I did so, but it was worth it. The girls and I started hanging out there as soon as it was all put together and I've absolutely loved it!

 

Brooklyn’s Birthday Party

Brooklyn wanted to separate her groups of friends this year, so we had her school friends come over on her actual birthday, then had all her dance friends come over for a pool party to celebrate. They all had a blast and of course spent a good amount of time dancing in and around the pool.

 

Dance Night at Classic

Our dance studio had a big back to dance party at Classic Skating. The girls loved going and hanging out with all their friends. We are excited or the new year to start and the girls can't wait!
