Curls

I bought a new set of curls and tried them out on Britney. They turned out cute and stayed in for days!

 

WFG Annual Event

Since Josh was promoted I was automatically put on the planning committee for their events. This was their end of year event and was both Friday and Saturday.  It was fun to help plan and set up for it. Friday night was their fancy dinner with a few speakers.  Josh was asked to speak for about 15 minutes on Saturday night and he did a great job...very personal and inspiring. It was a great event and we really enjoyed being there.

Not totally sure what is going on in each of these pics, but they are all too cute to not post. My favorite is definitely our little peanut squished into Brooklyn's backpack...not sure how they came up with that idea.

 

Bingham Pics

It was fun to go on the Bingham sports page and see Brayden's picture right in the middle of it! (The first pic I posted was the one on their sports page.) They came and took pics at one of the games and I love the pics they got of Brayden. We also got the pics back that they took at the beginning of the year and I posted them at the end. Such a stud!

Playhouse Ladder

I have spent the whole past year trying to figure out how to do a ladder for our playhouse. The kids have just kept a stool there to climb up to the second level and periodically a kids falls off the stool and I feel horrible about it. I've gone through SO many ideas, bought and returned ladders and step ladders, and just haven't come up with something I like yet. I started looking around again seeing if I could figure it out and I ran across a couple of deck ladders that are meant to be used on a dock or swimming pool. I was looking through the comments and someone posted a pic of his they adapted this ladder for something in their backyard and it made me think maybe I could make it work. So I bought it and it came and it is perfect!!! I took it to our old next door neighbor and he nicely grinded down the sharp edges on the steps. It was a little bit too short so I made a trip to Home Depot and came up with an innovative way of using sprinkler pipes with threads to put on the bottom so I could adjust it to the right height. I bolted in the top and it really turned out great! The kids are able to go up and down without any problems now and I feel so much better about how much safer it is!

 

Kay’s Birthday

We went to Michael and Natalie's house for dinner to celebrate Kay's birthday. The girls were so cute and spent all afternoon painting pictures and making cards for her. 

 

Ericson Christmas Party

This is another side of the family we haven't seen in a while bc of Covid. It was nice to have Josh's extended family on his dad's side over for dinner and to play. I had to leave in the middle of it to play the piano at our stake conference, but it was still nice to be able to see them all and catch up.
