Brooklyn’s Birthday

2nd day of school also meant Brooklyn's birthday. I let her choose an activity to do after school and she wanted to go to the Labryinth place that's part of Airborne. Since Britney is too young to do it I let her bring a friend so they could do the trampolines with the other kids were in the maze. We went to Olive Garden for dinner then she opened her presents. We LOVE Brooklyn and are excited she is finally a teenager!!!

1st Day of School Do-over

We did some picture retakes lol. 1st graders start school a day after the rest of the kids so she wasn't included yesterday...which meant I needed a few more pictures of the elementary kids. Brayden got a haircut after school yesterday and Brooklyn got her hair colored and trimmed so we needed a few more pics of them as well!

1st Day of School

I love that my kids like to go to school. It's never been a struggle and they all get up and get ready all on their own without any complaining (I am usually still in bed until they are ready to go!) I think Covid helped all kids realize that being at school is much better than having to do it at home. So my kids have been looking forwards to the 1st day of school so they could see all their friends again.

Samantha’s Birthday

We stopped by the cemetery to visit Samantha on her birthday. It's hard to imagine it's been 8 yrs since she passed away. We think about her often and she continues to influence our lives daily.

Baby Grant

Britney LOVES babies. Like she insists to hold any baby or toddler she sees. So naturally whenever we are together with Josh's family she has to hold Grant as much as he lets her.

Slip ‘n Slide

I've been waiting to do this ever since we decided to put in a pool. I finally decided it was time to try it and we pulled our air track out of the gym and let the kids use it as a slip 'n slide. It didn't go quite as well as I had pictured...it wasn't super slippery against their skin like I thought. But the kids adapted and still had a lot of fun!

Summit Team

All Brayden wants to do is play ball. He's been playing with Bingham all summer but he's also been playing with a team from Summit Academy. It keeps him busy and it's fun to watch how much he loves it!
