Brielle's Team Dinner

The mom's on 3 of my girl's dance teams switch off who brings the team dinner during their break (Britney never stays during a dinner break.) It's a new thing I started this year with one of our teams and it caught on and we all love doing it. With Covid they haven't had a microwave at the studio so it's been hard figuring out what to send them for dinner each week. So once every 2 months I bring dinner for each of their teams. This turn for Brielle happened to land on St. Patrick's Day so of course we had to go all out with the green food! Green pancakes, green eggs, green grapes, and donuts with green frosting. It was a great night and the girls all loved it!

St. Patrick's Day

Our little leprechaun came and left a maze and treasures for the kids. It's always fun to see how magical everything is for younger kids. Brielle made a trap but didn't catch him. She says she will try again next year!

Dance America - Day 2

We headed back on Saturday for the team competition. Both girls looked great in all their routines! Josh and Kay were both able to come and watch them dance. Again the girls wanted to stay and hang out all day. Their teams did great and got a lot of high awards! You'll notice that Britney tends to bounce around and is very loved by all the girls on all the teams. Before the awards our studio was jamming out to the music and Britney, of course, was right in the middle of it all!

Brayden's Bball Game

As the girls and I left the dance competition we all decided we wanted to rush and watch Brayden's bball game. They've been strict on the amount of spectators each player can have ever since Covid hit so I haven't been able to make it to many games. They let us all in and we loved watching Brayden lead his team for a win! I love watching the kids support each other and I know it means a lot to them when their siblings are there cheering them on.

Dance America - Day 1

Another weekend...another dance competition! This was another one for Brielle and Britney. Luckily this competition was only about 12 minutes from our house so Josh and Brayden were able to come watch their solos! Britney had to get up at 6:30am to be ready in time but she was a trooper. She did great too (even if she did mirror 1/3 of her dance!) I ran back and forth so Brielle could sleep in a little longer, which worked out great. So far this is the best Brielle has done on her solo! After the awards were done and both girls were finished for the day...no one wanted to leave! We ended up staying for 5 more hours watching all their friends dance throughout the day. All 4 girls have the best friends at dance and love being with them and with each other.

Britney's 6th Birthday!

What a fun and exhausting day we had! Britney has a playgroup on Tuesdays so I decided to take the whole playground to Airborne to play. They loved it! After school I dropped the 3 other girls off to dance and took Britney for an afternoon full of surprises. We picked up her best friend who she hasn't seen for 6 months bc of Covid! She was SO excited! We headed to Gardner Village to visit their animal farm. It was pretty cold, but the girls loved it. All Britney has been wanting to do lately is see a "real life llama" and boy did she get her wish! She got to hang out with 2 llamas and snuggle them all she wanted. She was adorable and had the time of her life. After feeding a few more animals and going for a pony ride we headed to Classic Fun Center where Audrey and Britney played and played for hours. We left just in time to drop Audrey off and pick up all the girls from dance. We grabbed the boys and headed to her chosen dinner at Zupas...she likes the ck strips and of course the chocolate strawberries. We went to my in laws for presents and cake, then headed home to crash! Happy birthday miss Brit!!!
