St. George - Day 4

Tuesday morning we played at the condo in the morning. We brought down the girls' paint spinner that they got for Christmas and they were all mesmerized by it. I admit...it was pretty cool. They all got to take turns creating their own masterpieces. We headed to Chick-fil-a for lunch with intentions on heading to the Children's Museum afterwards. Of course Chick-fil-a was having some fundraiser so it was a zoo. We spent about an hour there eating while the kids played, which didn't leave enough time for the museum. Josh ended up dropping me and the baby back at the condo and the rest of them all headed to the movie theater. They saw Kung Fu Panda 3. From what I heard they all enjoyed it! And I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon in the quiet while the baby slept. For the evening we headed to the Fiesta Fun Center. We spent way too much money, spent way too much time picking out prizes,  and took way too many pictures of the kids in the ducks. Not sure what I was thinking. We then went to the Pizza Factory for dinner. After we finished stuffing ourselves with yummy food we headed to the condo for the evening.

St. George - Day 3

Monday morning was the warmest day we were there. We got all the kids ready in their swimsuits and headed to the splash pad. The kids, of course, LOVED it! The water was chilly and it was a little breezy, but that didn't stop them from getting wet and having a blast. We grabbed some pizzas for lunch, then headed back to the condo so my girls could nap. I headed to Walmart during their naps and ended up buying a TON of clothes for the kids. They had tons on clearance for $1-3 so I took advantage. After nap time we headed to the rec center and swam ALL night. It was perfect for all the different ages of kids. And Brynlee could finally go down the big slide so that was huge bonus (she's too short for the slides in SLC, but in St. George you just can't go down with a life jacket.). I took her down the slide a few times, then let her try it on her own and helped teach her how to swim to the side. She did great! So then Josh took Brielle down the slide. That was a big mistake. HUGE mistake. When he shot out at the bottom he failed to lead with his feet enabling him to stand up and hold Brielle above the water. Instead he went in bum first and got sucked down to the bottom, dragging poor Brielle with him. She was NOT a fan of that. In fact she was absolutely terrified of the slide. So of course I had to force her to go down with me so I could show Josh how to NOT drown our child. She still didn't love it, but was less terrified after that. We showered the kids, grabbed dinner, and headed back to the condo for another relaxing evening!

St. George - Day 1 & 2

We've been wanting to go to St. George for awhile, but weren't able to find anyone to go with. The Trimbles said they would love to go so we quickly started planning our trip! Unfortunately, Jeff's mom passed away the week before we were going to head down there, so they had a really rough week and weren't sure they wanted to come. The decided it would be good to go so we all headed down on Saturday. Brayden had his first super league ball game at 4, so we had to wait for that then headed down. The drive went pretty well. We stopped once for dinner then made it the rest of the way and pulled into to the Trimble's condo around 9:30.

Their condo is the perfect set up for our 2 families. It was fun for the kids to all bunk together and there was plenty of space for us and our little ones. On Sunday we headed up to the rocks to walk around and enjoy the beautiful weather. The kids LOVED being outside and they loved playing on the rocks. Brielle and Chase and the CUTEST little kids. He is always SO worried about her and is always making sure she is ok. They played together so well the entire trip!

After hiking we headed back for lunch and nap time. We then headed to park after naps and ended up at Chuck-a-rama for dinner. We hung out for the rest of the evening and loved relaxing with the Trimbles.
